Trooper Nicholas Clark was shot and killed while responding to a suicidal subject on July 2, 2018.
Trooper Clark was just 29 years old and is survived by his parents and brother. He served with the New York State Police for 2 years.
The heartbreaking incident shook the state of New York and sparked the start of our Give Blue Fundraiser. We send our deepest thanks to everyone that took part and continues to wear their Thin Blue Line Bracelet in honor of Trooper Clark.
“His life was taken because he did what we asked him to do,” said Beach. “He went into harm’s way to protect the innocent, and despite the great risk that he faced he performed his duty to help others. That is a true hero.” - New York State Police Superintendent George Beach II, WHAM
A total donation of $27,452.24 was made to the Signal 30 Fund of the Police Benevolent Association of the New York State Troopers in memory of Trooper Nicholas Clark.
God bless you, Nicholas Clark. May you rest in peace.
