Police Officer Greggory Casillas was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a reckless driving suspect who had fled police on March 9, 2018.

Officer Casillas was 30 years old and is survived by his wife and two young children. He served with the Pomona Police Department for six months.

We launched our Give Blue Fundraiser to support the family of this fallen hero. We send our deepest thanks to everyone that took part and continues to wear their Thin Blue Line Bracelet in honor of Officer Casillas.

“Gregg believed that good should prevail over evil, he dedicated his life to make that so. He paid the ultimate sacrifice doing what he loved,” Olivieri added. - Pomona Police Chief Michael Olivieri, CBS Los Angeles

A total donation of $6442.33 was made to the Officer Greggory J. Casillas Memorial Fund to support the family. The donation will continue the honorable service he provided to his community.

God bless you, Greggory Casillas. May you rest in peace.
