Manhunt Underway for Killer of Maine Corporal
Tragedy in Maine. Our hearts are with the Somerset County Sheriff's Office as they mourn the loss of their own, Corporal Eugene Cole. May he rest in peace. An active manhunt is underway for the cowardly cop-killer, John Williams (29). Somerset County residents, please stay safe and report any suspicious activity to your local law enforcement. Corporal Eugene Cole was shot and killed by a subject who was out on bond for a previous weapons charge on April 25, 2018.

Corporal Cole is survived by his wife and four children. He served with the Somerset County Sheriff's Office for 13 years.

Our Give Blue Fundraiser launched to show support for the family and community of Somerset County. We send our deepest thanks to everyone that took part and continues to wear their Thin Blue Line Bracelet in honor of Corporal Cole.

A total donation of $20,377.00 was donated to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) as requested by the family.
