Each year, the names of hundreds of officers are engraved on the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, forever memorializing their sacrifice. During the annual Candlelight Vigil, these names are read aloud, serving as a poignant and meaningful way to remember and honor these brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities.
