The Durham County Sheriff's Community Oriented Policing Effort or S.C.O.P.E Division is a specialized Motor Unit that performs numerous functions such as funeral escorts, event security, traffic control and enforcement as well as impaired driving education and community watch.
This year, as police survivors arrived at the Ronald Reagan Airport for National Police Week, officers from the Durham County Motor unit met the families and escorted them to their respective hotel.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the contributions of the S.C.O.P.E division. Our Durham County Challenge Coin serves to recognize their division as a specialized unit while honoring the service and commitment of their officers.
Whether you are a fellow officer or thin blue line supporter your purchase of our Durham County Challenge Coin offers a token of your appreciation for their service.
