Remembering Aaron Allan | Give Blue | $10,276.85 Donated

On July 27th, Lieutenant Aaron Allan was shot multiple times and killed while responding to a rolled over vehicle crash. As Lt. Allan approached the vehicle to help the subjects involved in the crash, one of the subjects open fired without warning. Lieutenant Allan was transported to a hospital where he died from his injuries.

Lt. Allan was a serving Law Enforcement Officer for 20 years. He is survived by his wife and children.The other responding officers returned fire and took the suspects into custody.

In our mission to support every American family recovering from the death of an active duty officer, we set-up a fundraiser to help support the Indianapolis Police Foundation. This non-profit fund is committed to directly supporting the family of Lt. Aaron Allan.

Through the generosity of countless individuals across Indiana, we helped raise $10,276.85 to donate to the Indianapolis Police Foundation. This was raised through the sale of Thin Blue Line Bracelets, a national symbol of unity for our nation's fallen officers.

Our country has forever lost a hero after this tragic and senseless incident. We are at a loss for words. We send our deepest condolences to the community and family affected by the loss of this brave and caring man. God bless you, Aaron Allan. May you rest in peace.
